February News 2012 From experience, the framing industry starts to kick start off at the beginning of February, due to the NEC Birmingham Spring Fair 5 - 9 February 2012. This is the ideal opportunity to view new gifts and artwork for your business. Please note not every suppler will be attending, including ourselves, but Northampton is not far away by train or car. Investing in a new machine is not to be taken lightly, so collect your information and we will assist and demonstrate our machines as a comparison in a quiet showroom environment. We may even offer you a coffee and drop you back to the station if you are travelling by foot, it’s all about doing your homework and buying the right machine. News - November 2011 Most Framers are gearing themselves up for the busy period of the year. This month is the last month to think about having your machine serviced, or at least replace any broken parts to avoid a costly breakdown in December. The following brands are covered by us on service and spare parts: Cassese / Morso / Keencut / Fletcher / Hot Press Think Forward planning: Have you enough D Rings / Cords / Wedges / Tapes to get you through the Christmas period. Try to avoid making individual orders on a panic basis, we are all guilty of this and we quite often absorb the carriage costs and forget to pass the charges on to the customer. The take up on the Box Framing Course this November has been excellent. In fact, it's over subscribed and proved to be the most popular course, along with Conservation and Mount Decoration. The biggest area of growth without a doubt for us and our customers has been the web. So my advice is make sure you have a presence on the web, even if it's just a basic site, do not let business slip away silently to your competitors. Our structured framing courses have proved very popular with the experienced framers and new starters to the trade. On the same note we still have places available for this months Hotpress Training day, this is the ideal FREE opportunity to brush up on your Heat Sealing / Laminating techniques, or maybe you just want find out if it's a product suitable for your business. Hot Press Training Course ... 7th Nov Application FormIf you have an old model machine that requires servicing or parts, let us know as soon as possible, over the next few months we will be clearing our early model machine parts to make room for the later model spares. So don't say we didn't warn you, it's first come first served if you want to keep your old machines in production. Remember we are far more than just a machinery company, our consumable product range is constantly expanding on a monthly basis, this is driven by your requests and loyalty to Framers Equipment. Keep up the good work and just phone whenever you require help. Peter Stanlick MD. Morso EH Noiseless The new Morso EH Noiseless Mitre Machine is now available. This fully automatic, electric/hydraulic mitring machine, separates the pump and motor from the machine frame and places them in a wooden box which can be moved around. The hydraulic hose from the machine is one metre, but can be longer if needed so the machine can be placed in one room and the motor and pump in another removing the noise from the cutting area.
