UNIMOUNT CLASSIC DRY MOUNT TISSUE
|
This premium grade tissue is widely regarded as the “industry standard”
for the permanent mounting of all types of flat artwork. it is
especially popular among bespoke framers and photo processors
due to its lay flat properties. Unimount Classic is a high grade
adhesive on a porous, pH neutral tissue.
Unimount Classic is suitable for mounting posters, prints, photographs,
inkjets, pastels, charcoals, colour copies, maps, charts, blue
prints and plans.
Unimount Classic is compatible with a wide variety of substrates,
including mount board, pulp and grey boards, grey boards, foam
centred boards, hardboard, MDF and of course, Hot Press’s own
specialist mounting substrate, White Display Board.

VISTAMOUNT DRY MOUNT TISSUE
Vistamount is an economy grade dry mounting tissue, which is a vast improvement on its predecessor Eco-Bond. Most often used by contract framers, this cost effective tissue offers a permanent bond for posters and prints. It is suitable for mounting artwork to MDF and most types of mounting board.

ARCHIVAL GRADE TISSUE
This conservation grade tissue incorporates a chalk buffered layer
that prevents acids from moving through the tissue & is favoured by
professional conservators & art restorers. This product should
ideally be used in conjunction with museum boards for work that is
to be archived.
In recent times this tissue has increased in popularity with framers
who are seeking to offer a superior grade, in addition to their normal
dry mounting services.

ACID FREE MOUNT FILM
This acid free adhesive melts as it heats up & only bonds as it cools &
becomes solid again. By re-heating the film it may be reversed -
rendering it a true conservation adhesive. Acid Free Mount Film also
conforms to uneven surfaces, such as watercolour paper & fabrics,
making it a highly versatile adhesive for all types of artwork &
substrates. If you wish to mount limited editions or even original
artwork this is the only product we would recommend.

DRY MOUNT FILM CLEAR
This film is the most aggressive adhesive in the Hot Press range,
coated with a solvent based tacky adhesive, which will grip to highly
textured or very smooth surfaces.
Woods or plastics are commonly bonded using this film, being the
base adhesive required when bonding prints to canvas.
