BUDGET PANELS Budget panels are diamond polished. They are quicker and easier to make and ideal where the application is signage or low value acrylic art. LUXURY PLAIN EDGE PANELS The luxury plain edge has a beautiful hand polished edge which is glass like and optically clear. LUXURY BEVELLED EDGE PANELS The luxury bevelled edge is stepped and bevelled then hand polished to create the ultimate luxury acrylic. The bevelled edge provides a refracted frame around the picture which plays with the ambient light and the picture to create a captivating finish. PANEL FIXINGS There are two methods of fixing acrylics to the wall. The most common is using metal fixings. These are available in two finishes, satin chrome and polished chrome. There are then two sizes, skinny and chubby. It is normal to use skinny fixings with panels up to 10mm and chubby fixings for panels over 10mm. The blind hanging system uses three batons, two of which fastened to the picture and one which fastens to the wall. These are hidden from view and create a ‘float’ acrylic where the picture floats 10mm from the wall with no visible fixing. Security fixings for the floats are available at extra cost to prevent accidental or deliberate removal.
